The Conversation
In many ways THE CONVERSATION is more about a way of thinking. It’s about intentionally choosing to become self-aware enough to ask yourself, “How do I want to show up authentically in my world?”
Sure, it begins with asking yourself the question. I mean seriously, digging deeper into what it means to you. Whether you are a novice or experienced in this area of inner exploration, the practice is worth it to you, personally and professionally.
I meet people like me who used to live unaware and unconscious about how we show up. In many ways, it was like a masquerade. I’m inviting you to take off the mask.
While asking yourself the question is important, it is essential that you invite a few other trusted friends into asking the question. This isn’t a monolog. We are wired for community. We learn best in community. Community provides safety as well as affords us the challenge to be honest and not hide behind some façade.
As Robert Quinn puts it, “Over time we have great challenges that invite us to examine the questions of identity and destiny. When we examine those questions everything changes.”
